You are correct. The price of trucks are outrageous. Trying to get lesser and by the time you add things that are needed and wanted you might as well stepped up to the Lariat from the XLT. My stomach is still churning from this transaction. We both know that it will be nice to have more stability and power than we were used to in our old truck. We could have put higher weight bearing tires and wheels on our old truck but the sticker gross weight is still 8800 pounds and we decided that we would rather be legal and not worrying about it all of the time.
