Sad... but very true. As much as some people HATE a particular brand, if there wasn't competition we would all be driving underpower, inefficient, ugly trucks with low payload and low towing capabilities. The great thing about competition is that every manufacturer is constantly pushing to get better than the others. More power, better mileage, higher payload, more comfortable seating, etc etc.
Bash all you want, just remember that you NEED the competition.
