I would like to reference that wiggle room again. Take the time to look, and you'll notice Ford and GM have higher payloads, but DON'T have much wiggle room at all. I'm not afraid of exceeding that GVWR as long as I'm prudent about it. And as an empty nester, I could tow a pretty good sized trailer with it and easily stay under than GVWR.
