I call BS. I've seen it first hand, low 1200 lbs when F150s configured the same are around 1500 lbs. These being Crew Cab 4WD trucks.
I've seen it first hand, on the dealers lots. No paper can dispute what I've seen first hand.
GVWR for my Crew Cab 4WD is 7350 lbs! Ram configured the same had a pathetic GVWR of only 6800 lbs. That's a whopping 550 lbs more for the Ford F150! No wonder Ram has such a lower payload. The couple hundred lbs lighter they are, doesn't make up for the lower 550 lbs GVWR.
As I said, their 2500/3500s are nice but the 1500 is a car designed to look like a truck. :D
BTW, nice truck. I'm considering the same for my next round in 2018.
