With my 1999 Dodge 5.9-24valve, I averaged 21mpg towing my 34' Toy Hauler on level trips. Hills drop to 19mpg. Main reason? 55mph in the right lane. Yeah I know everybody is in a hurry, but the drive should be as nice as the destination. Our "used to be" California fuel prices were very high. Now very good!
This is untrue.
I just noticed your siggy. WOW, regular cab 3500 srw with Cummins/Aisin. I bet that truck is BAD _ _ _. Got any pics? There is a 2500 regular cab Cummins at the lot up the street from me and I want to buy it so bad just because. Regular cab is useless for me now but I love the "Old Schoolness" of them. I would love to have your combo in a 2WD short bed.:B
