I fill up to the click off and I'm right in line with the computer but to get a real test run trucks through a full tank and a regen and see what happens.
I agree that to measure fuel economy on a diesel it needs to include a regen because the regen frequency will have a significant impact on the mpg results. Anything less is misleading.
Whatever the outcome is, this test is invalid IMHO. In addition to have the computer mpg off by this much from the hand calculated mpg results don't pass the smell test.
