2015 Ram 3500 vs 2015 F350 diesel mpg test

Why wouldn't you want to refill DEF everytime you refill diesel. Wouldn't that help keep the DEF fresh?
By the way, according to the video. The Dodge was 70 lbs heavier than the Ford.

Ram 2 mpg better than the Ford.
