  • Lets see now a fuel millage test on just one small 4x mile test run and a two click refill.

Now their going to do the other truck brand the same ?? LOL

Any one that tows much would know the results will be flawed and not a fair/actual indication for either trucks mpg.

I've had trucks that would take several more gallons after two clicks and another truck may take less than a gallon after two clicks.

I don't feel that the short distance used and relying on foam to click off the pump would give an accurate number. If one of the trucks has a filler neck better suited to not backing up in the neck it will really skew the numbers.

the number would have only went up with highway cruising involved but it's a good representation. If you fill the truck up the same way every time that you'll get accurate fuel readings from the pump.

I fill up to the click off and I'm right in line with the computer but to get a real test run trucks through a full tank and a regen and see what happens.

I'm betting ford will be lower cause even though they have a higher gear they are always the heaviest.

  • Indeed, I was also somewhat shocked by the lie-o-meter part also.

It will be interesting to see how the Ford/ part 2 turns out.
  • Posted before I watched it. Guess we have to wait for part 2. Interesting that the "lie-o-meter" read 2 mpg LOW. Most claim it's high.
