Full chat at the nurburgring (preproduction) doubt if the exhaust is 'street' - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerHave the say Ford got the Mustang 100% right! One drop dead sex a$$ car just dripping with Bad A$$ written all over it!
Don - The_Mad_NorskyExplorerThe vehicles we dreamed about as kids.
Then, we could only dream. I, at least, was too poor to buy one.
But dream I could. Mustang, Challengers, oh the imagined joy of owning one of those late 60's, very, very early 70's models.
And now they're here with a vengeance. But so improved over those 60's/70's models with technology and performance that there really is no comparison.
Think I need a bigger garage! :B
Oh, and don't forget! New Pontiac Trans Am coming along too! Smokey and the Bandit all over again! - Executive45Explorer IIISweet!.....Dennis
- glazierExplorer III had a couple of Mustangs as a young boy, they were great cars. I always loved the sound of a throaty Mustang, this 350 will sound great.
- fla-gypsyExplorerThere is no argument it is a beautiful car and I would love to have one. I have very fond memories of my '68 Mustang convertible with a little 6 cylinder and 4 on the floor. What a fun car to drive.

must sound amazing,rumour is a 8250 redline
Woa, I can't even imagine what that would sound like.
But that's one way to get to higher HP numbers.
It would sound like a motorcycle engine! The problem with my buddy's Taurus SHO (mid 90's) was the alternator would spin to fast if the engine redline was not kept below 7,000 RPM, the engine could handle more than the alternator!
I guess they must have solved that problem with a smaller diameter belt drive pulley.
It sounds like a lot of fun! My buddy has a 2013 Mustang with the V6 to get maximum mileage per gallon! He gets over 20 MPG, sometimes as much as 28 MPG highway!
He did things like open up the exhaust to make it louder (crazy to me) and put in a tuner kit;
Myself, I am happy with my 2007 Edge 3.5L 262 HP V6 as a toad and great all around all wheel drive car. IT performs very well on frozen ground and in the snow!
When I first got the Edge, I was out in Long Beach looking for a job, and my cousin called from Albuquerque to tell me he would be spending the night in Phoenix. I drove up the 6% grade from Palm Springs toward Phoenix at 100 MPH in 5th gear at around 5,500 RPM! Had a great time on that trip, but kept it around 70 most of the way.. . .
Ford is working 3 crews in their F-150 and F-super duty truck plants, each crew works 40 hours a week, and can produce up to about 1,000,000 trucks this year in all three plants!

Interesting Ford went back to a naturally aspirated engine at 5.2L and a Flat Plane Crank.

It should be a heck of a track car. Back to the original 350's roots. I'm waiting on the next GT500. - ScottGNomad

Pop quiz.
Where did the name "350" come from?
Carol Shelby after debating it for far too long simply asked the others in the comity "how far from here to that building over there"? Someone said about 350 feet and Shelby said fine lets use that.
Winner!!:)
Thanks - I had to push aside my wifes birth date to remember that but it was so worth it.
