2015 Silvarado backup camera

I just picked up a 2015 chev with a backup camera. Is there any way to add another camera to be able to see in the bed to hook up 5th wheel?

There is, it just depends how deep your pockets are. You need to already have the towing mirrors. Then you need THIS and mount the wireless camera for the rear of the trailer to the top of the truck cab above the center brake light. Or fork out some more bucks and throw THIS into the mix in addition. You'll also need a flash of the trucks system after installation by a GM dealer for around $150.00. Call it an even $1500.00

The GM system is completely absolutely plug and play NO, repeat NO flashing required NOR is it required to be dealer installed.

I did not say it needs to be dealer installed. It's only plug and play if the infotainment and BCM software is updated to or beyond a certain version. With the 15's it depends on the date of manufacture of the truck, or if it had been reflashed prior for another reason to a compatible version. It's a roll of the dice.

Mine was not plug and play. The good thing was the reflash was free under the warranty and also fixed an issue where the infotainment system locked up a few times and the backup camera going wonky once or twice.

How do you like the low beam headlights on your 2015? They have an update that includes new bulbs and increases voltage to them, which makes a hell of a difference. It still does not eliminate the distinct line from light to dark but makes them much brighter. GM does not advertise it, it's in a TSB.

I had the TSB for the headlights done, and I agree it makes a big difference. before the TSB the lights were really poor. Now they are at least adequate. Not the best I've had, but not the worst either. However, my 04 duramax had much better headlights.
