rwiegand, I gave up trying to count the number of bodies of water that we saw. The Alaskans are big in fly fishing, in Soldotna I caught my one and only salmon. We spent 34 days in Alaska alone on this journey and over 16,000 miles on the complete trip, worth every bump in the road. Thank for following along
Ramp Digger, I though I had talked about those blood suckers, I had some problems with them and my best defense from them was netting. They didn't even brother my wife, Julie. most of the problem area were around still to slow moving water. For the most part they weren't that big of a problem, just make sure you have your shot gun with you. Thanks for reading and following along
