Here is the break down. I was probably the first to run a TC on a 2500 with coils as torklift had to test the tie downs because they didn't have a product number when I got my truck.
The coils are great. They ride great and handle the load they are rated for. The problem is going to be the payload rating of the 2500 with the diesel 4x4. It significantly reduces the payload rating. I think it is under 2000 lbs with the diesel.
I have the 6.4 in the 2500. I love my truck. It hauls my camper well. It does everything I have ever asked it to do. I have just under 30000 miles and half has been with my TC. That being said the only reason I don't have a 3500 diesel is because of budget. TC's get heavy and I think you should start with the most payload capacity you can afford.
2500 and diesels don't mix. They are too heavy to start with.
My wish list is that the 2018 3500 come with coils so I get the epic ride of the 2500 with the payload capacity of the 3500.
