I spin my filter off and let it rest carefully on the crossmenber. I stick my finger down in the threaded hole and pull the filter out through the wheel well...I have yet to make a mess with the filter.
Exactly , was told by a tech at a Ram dealership thats the way he does it, but I have yet to try it now with having the Genos cap.
They looked at me funny when I mentioned taking the turbo intake off :) Which is the way I did it the first two times, now I know why they looked at me funny.
But I do prefill .
