No surprise to me on fuel milage, though Newer doesn't always mean better. We had an 02 3500 duramax with over 250k when it got traded in. Was an awesome truck. Fuel milage was really good empty. For a dually with 4x4 and extended cab it would get 22 on the hwy empty all day long. Towing 14.500 pounds it would get around 11-12 in florida. Great truck, now being that said, think about how many guys are looking for the older DMax and Cummins trucks..... They are in high demand for economy and no emissions...I really like the new GM twins, nice trucks, my 09 is not old by any means only got 70k on it with the gas engine, no upgrading anytime soon for this dude....
