2016 F350 ordering timeframe

I was wondering what the average time frame is for a ordered superduty. I ordered my truck on 6/16/15 and when I checked with the dealership today, he informed me that the truck has not been scheduled yet. When I ordered the truck I was told that there wasn't any parts shortages that would delay the build. It has been a little over 8 weeks and I got nothing. i ordered a f350 crew cab shortbed 6.2 gas with 4.30 axle to tow my new fifthwheel. I am getting very frustrated and I'm thinking that maybe I should look at other options. Thank you in advance

    I know Ford has had some frame supply problems on the F150. Perhaps it is impacting the SD line as well. And I'm guessing the problem is bigger than they are leading on.

    I ordered my 2012 and it came in a couple of weeks sooner than I was told that it would take. It all depends on the factory, they may have what you ordered sitting on the lot at the factory. But maybe not. A month to six weeks might be a good guess. But not in your case. Your salesman should be able to provide an update, motivate him by saying you will look elsewhere.
