What I am saying is some things are beyond dealer control.
The DW wanted a 2016 Expedition in a specific color and trim package. My dealer found 3 within 50 miles.
Dealer 1 - his "new" one turned out to have over 600 miles on it.
Dealer 2 claimed he already had a customer for it even though it was still showing in his inventory 2 weeks later.
Dealer 3 wanted a specific vehicle in trade, but my dealer did not have that in stock. Took nearly a week for my dealer to work a trade with them.
Dealers compete in sales numbers and are not particularly inclined to help another unless it helps themselves in return.
