2016 ford ordering question

HH, Like what others have said, all mfrs wait till they get a whole bunch of "X" type of vehicles to be ordered before they actually build them. Makes it easier for them to line up the options. Everything is just in time nowadays so at this time anything going into whatever is coming down the line just came into the plant within past day or so. All options are order specific. Once the plant gets done w/ whatever they are building now, it's very possible that the next batch could be 250's/350's. Based on when I ordered my last trucks, was told to expect it in about 12 weeks from order date at dealer. May be in sooner, but at least 3 months. Plus like what OP said, plants are just getting done re-tooling for the 2016's, so production should be ramping back up.
