2016 GMC Vibration on highway
I am shopping for a new one ton truck for a new truck camper. We really like the looks and interior of the GMC double cab/long bed SLT. Took it for a test drive and it had a horrible vibration at 65...

Bedlam...Yea I was surprised when I was told to avoid the Ram and at first thought he assumed I was looking at the 2500 with the coil so I clarified that. I thought Ram's payload was right up there so I was surprised.
I do not recall any complaints on the TC Forum with any trucks having loading issues. You are on the forum, read the signatures, or start a thread specific to what you are concerned with.
Unfortunately, the truck threads usually turn into a negative mess. Too many loyal fans of a given truck providing misinformation to support of the truck of their choice.

I hear you Wayne. The 'he' was Bill Penny from Truck Camper warehouse who has been recommended many times here. He seemed quite knowledgeable and he puts campers on trucks for a living and stated he has to do more work on the new Rams than the other two. I am sure he has a bias like we all do but this is what he does daily and he was not trying to sell me a truck.
Anyone with a new RAM SRW that can voice an opinion? I am doing a search for RAM now in this forum and so far only finidng DRW's...still looking though.
I liked the RAM and it was what I was leaning towards until my conversation with Bill.
