Or the engineers spec'd out the rear spring pack to carry the payload without one. Obviously this is the case or the Ram would have a lower rating. Some people have the spring packs reworked by spring shops to carry higher load.
I think the lack of overload just places a person in a position of attacking the add on's in a different way other than upper stableload bump stop extensions.
