Here is a quote from the link: "Ford said it didn’t have enough time to outfit the SuperCab for last year’s tests, but since then has added wheelblockers, nylon hinge pillar reinforcements and rocker cab reinforcements that help in this particular crash scenario." That is really hard to believe that, in their own words, they "didn't have enough time" to do the right thing on certain cab styles last year. Certainly the other manufacturers are behind Ford in this type of crash scenario, and I am sure they will all make changes in their next redesigns. But, it still bothers me that Ford chose to add blockers to one cab configuration last year but not to the other style. Either way, it is fixed now, so that is good.
