I don't think so. The 150 still wouldn't have the payload capacity of the 250.

The torque of that small Lion V8 might be too much for the F150's tranny and rear axle though. Probably the diesel V6 would be ok.

For me a diesel would only make sense in an F150 with the HD Payload package with the heftier rear axle, springs, shocks, wheels and tires.
