No doubt. We were just responding to the outlandish claims of that last poster who thinks that a truck with similar ratings to his 1 ton truck is a "grocery getter" simply because its a half ton.
I would assume that even a 15 year old 1 ton truck is a better tow platform than a new half ton... but that doesn't mean that the new half ton isn't a substantial truck. Too many people on this forum whose immediate reaction is be snide and snarky and dismissive of others simply because of the brand or class of truck they chose to drive.

And to think the better handling, braking, accelerating, and pretty much everything else in the new F150 takes a back seat to the previous generation of much less powerful trucks is somehow a grocery getter is outlandish.
