No hater or brand loyalty here. I was just trying to figure out if it was the right tool for the job and was a potential buyer of the truck. No one was able to answer my questions about the ratings at the local dealerships, so I went to another manufacturer. It was months later when I stopped in the truck dealer inquiring about a F250 that the salesman and I started discussing the F150 rating. After his comments I continued to try and get an answer to the questions for the sake of knowing the truth. All I’ve done is report the findings and by all means if someone has some concrete proof of what I was told by Ford was wrong please present it. Nissan seems to be the only manufacturer that specifically sets a maximum pin weight rating and TWR for each trim level of it’s trucks.
The truth. The TWR and payload don’t jive.
