2017 F-250 Ike Gauntlet

Does anyone know if the new Powerstroke still uses the CP4.2? My brother's 2012 F350 is starting to show signs of pump failure with some hesitation on cold starts and wants to trade it in before it goes leaving him with a 10k repair. I think he will go back to the Cummins if they are still using the CP4.2.
