Hey Boatycall! I still visit this forum occasionally. Wayne and the forum members are doing a great job keeping it going and providing a great source of TC info.
I read your 450 thread a while back. I don't want to put that much money into a new truck. Below are some very rough MSRPs for 4x4 PSD XLT Ford trucks spec'ed out like we need:
$42k 2006 F-350 DRW (current truck)
$51k 2016 F-350 DRW
$61k 2017 F-350 DRW
$75k to $80k? 2017 F-450 DRW
I wish I had got up off on my butt and ordered a 2016 last Fall. But I waited around too long and missed the 2016 order window. I've never liked getting the first model year, but that looks like what will happen. That 450 looks nice, but more than I want to spend.
We are getting close to retiring and this will likely be our last TC and TC hauling truck. We will be doing some semi-full timing.
