So will the turbo outlet tube/adapter still be the same plastic one that breaks? There is a thread going on the Heartland forum about people carrying a spare or replacing it with a aftermarket SS one. And the OP had a lot of oil on the turbo wheel, which others said is normal because crankcase vent is routed to intake. How often does the intercooler have to be removed and cleaned? Chris
Of all the years I've been reading forums on the 6.7 PSD I probably read of less than half of dozen turbo tubes failing and most were running tuners and I don't know of anyone carrying a spare as there is no reason to carry one. As a matter of fact I've read of a lot more Ram trucks that the fan shroud getting chewed up by the engine fan. The Ford uses a centrifical device to separate the oil fumes from the crankcase fumes which has proven to be doing a adequate job. Never read of anyone ever having to clean out the intercooler either. At 95k miles on my truck none of these so called issues have developed.
Bottom line anything coming from this hater is questionable at best.
