I did a build and price on Fords website and compared the following 5 trucks-
2016 F150 XLT crew cab 4x4, 6-1/2' bed
3.5 Ecoboost, 3.73 e-locker, HD payload pkg, max tow pkg
2016 F350 SRW XLT crew cab 4x4, 8' bed (172" wb)
6.2 gas, 4.30 e-locker, hd payload pkg, gooseneck tow pkg
2016 F350 SRW XLT crew cab 4x4 cab/chassis, 176" wb
6.2 gas, 4.30 e-locker, hd payload pkg
2016 F350 DRW XLT crew cab 4x4 cab/chassis, 176" wb
6.2 gas, 4.30 ltd slip, hd payload pkg
2016 F550 DRW XLT crew cab 4x4 cab/chassis, 176" wb
V10 gas, 4.88 ltd slip, max payload pkg
The F150 and all 3 of the F350's came out within $2000 of eachother with all the same as close to same options chosen. The F550 came out $8-10,000 more than the other trucks.
For what they want for an F150, I'd much rather have the F350 for about the same price!
