I agree about the wide-track front axle. 4wd Fords have a terrible turning radius, regardless of the cab/bed length, but particularly bad with a crew cab and 8' bed.
Dodge did make the cab a little bigger when they went from the quad cab to the crew cab. Their crew cab isn't as big as the GM and Ford crew cabs though.
The mega cab is overkill. Dodge needs to make one crew cab, longer than their current one, but shorter than their mega cab, half way in between. Then they would be even with, or slightly bigger than the other 2 brands. And most importantly, they need to make it with an 8 foot bed. Using the wide track front axle from the 4500/5500 would be nice too.
