- 1jeepExplorer III saw that, but saw no mention if the f350 dually is still available with the wide track front axle. no power or tow ratings mentioned yet.
- spud1957ExplorerWow, 48 gallon fuel tank on the crew cab long box.
- Golden_HVACExplorer48 gallons is great if you are towing a really large trailer and only get 10 MPG or less.
I think I would like the 3.55 rear axle with a low RPM reving diesel engine. I had to drive a 2500 series 1987 GMC 6.2L diesel (work truck) and it would wind out at 65 MPG. The dually 3500 truck had a 4.56 rear axle and would hit the rev limiter at 68 MPH. Both engines required new heads around 70,000 miles.
Good luck with your new truck!
Fred. - lawnspecialtiesExplorer3.55 on a dually? Wow.
Being the former owner of an F450, I've always thought the 3.73 with the wide track front end would be perfect for me. - IdaDExplorerThat tank size is awesome.
- FordloverExplorer3" hitch receiver? I've seen the 2.5 but didn't realize a 3 inch model existed.

- One interesting little nugget I picked up on was that the F250 gas has a different transmission order code than the F350 SRW. Wonder what the difference is...
