Totally different transmission. It's the same, 6R80, that's in the 150 but beefed up. Only in the 250 gas. It is referred to Torqueshift-G. As apposed to the current Torqueshift.
The 250 diesel and 350 gas/diesel get the current 6R140.
Makes no sense to use a different transmission in 250/350 gassers. What the heck is Ford thinking?
The 6.7 PSD will most likely be putting out >450 HP and 1,000 ft/lbs of torque. The Torqueshift transmission is probably so beefed up it's no longer a good fit for a gas engine. Plus the new Torqueshift-G will help with improved fuel economy for the F250 6.2 Boss.
