It will be interesting to see what real world driving in extreme snow conditions brings with that air induction system. It might be OK in moderate snow but I can't see it working out in real heavy snow. But it is above the engine so as long as it doesn't get packed with snow when sitting outside it may be OK.
I know Ram was having some issues early on with the lower air intake tube packing with snow. That is what prompted Ram to come up with the active air intake system.
