2017 GM Duramax

I know somebody who picked up a 2017 GMC Denali 3500 SRW Duramax yesterday. So far it sounds like they are enjoying and like the truck (other than maybe the lenght in a parking garage!). They obviously haven't had it long enough to give me any feedback on gas mileage and towing performance with it.

Attached are a couple of pictures. It appears that GM hasn't moved or changed the DEF tank like some may have wanted.





As I get updates about their experience with the truck I will be sure to update.

    Nice looking truck but not much different looking other than the hood scoop, at least from what I can see. I wonder if there was any changes to the frame or suspension to up the weight ratings.

    You know, if you gotta ask.....
    On the upside, that LBZ with a mild tune'll run right next to it.

    It gets 0 MPG when running on gas.

    Is that the all-season tire? I'm wondering what you get if you spend the extra bit on all-terrains.

    Not much.
    Go to a car lot and take a look. The only trucks that ever come with decent tires are if they're a special off road package like a Raptor or Power wagon.
    There's a reason you can buy full sets of brand new HD pickup takeoff tires all day long on CL for $500 a set.
