2017 gmc

Have they released the new 17 duramax yet in the US. Still nothing in Canada yet.
  • I don't think so. The last I saw it was coming out in January.
  • It just went in to production last week or the week before, so it's going to be awhile before they hit dealer's lots.
  • Just started production on halloween, so first ones out the door were late monday night. Not all colors are running yet. Its a slow ramp up until all kinks are worked out.

What kind of "kinks" are there?

The truck is essentially the same other than a all new Duramax and stuff under the hood.
  • Well the front end is a bit different behind the griile, getting part changes established. Anytime there are changes it takes a bit to fix

what do you mean by "fix"?

"fixing" something implies there's something "wrong" or "broken"

Not really something wrong. Just fine tuning the assembly process. I assume that is what he is referring to. This is the case for every vehicle when there are changes.

    This,
  • I still haven't seen them showing up on dealer websites as "incoming inventory" or the like.

One curious question... to the person that apparently works in the factory...
Are Sierras and Silverados built on the same assembly line?
