- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerNice looking rig!
- LessmoreExplorer III like it a lot. Looks like a very nice unit and the Dodge, pardon me...Ram...is one of the better looking trucks out there.
There is a 'Ram' look that has gone through a number of generations and I can see why. It looks like a truck. The designer who came up with that long term, always evolving front end gets a gold star.
BTW, I still prefer the name Dodge to Ram and when I see a Ram, my brain's muscle memory still punches out Dodge. As many know in Canada for years the Canadian Plymouth dealers sold a Dodge truck under the name Fargo.
I recall the one we had on the prairies ...a '48 Fargo, one ton with a box lift kit. We used for general farm work and occasionally as an additional grain truck. Good old truck, with it's 4 speed manual and flathead, inline six.
Anyways back to the subject...hope to see more Ram based motor homes. - Me_AgainExplorer IIIhttp://dynamaxcorp.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=329&Image=12937
Factory option for 4x4 drive.
Chris - BedlamModeratorThere are a few Super C's built on the 5500 and F550. Most are longer and have less ground clearance than what I wanted which is why I have a large triple-slide truck camper on a 5500 instead.

- Bionic_ManExplorerI've seen a few, both Ford and RAM. I like the looks of the outside.
- FireGuardExplorer IISweet.
Too bad the 5500 didn't come with the 385/930 High output motor. - BedlamModeratorMy 5500 carries a 6000 lb truck camper while towing an 8000 lb enclosed trailer with no problem over western mountain ranges. The 325/750 output is enough to keep speed while using the 4.44 gear set.
- spoon059Explorer III saw one of those at the lake over 4th of July. Very nice looking rig. It was a 2017, new rig. I didn't ask the engine power output though. I think the guy said $120K or something like that...?
- BedlamModeratorThey start north of a $100k and get more expensive as size and options grow. $110-150k is typical for the ones primarily used on pavement. Slightly more off-road capable are in the $200k range while the extreme overland models like the Earth Roamer are over $500k.
