Quite right. Mopar also used the Fargo name for export vehicles (areas other than USA/Canada). I recall the old style military looking Dodge Power Wagon, among other truck models, was shipped overseas as a Fargo.
Canadian Plymouth dealers sold Fargo...Canadian Dodge dealers sold Dodge. Eventually Canadian Plymouth dealers just sold Dodge trucks/ Think this happened a few years after Canadian Mercury dealers (1968 model was their last year) stopped selling Mercury branded trucks and then sold Ford pickups. Marketing strategies from many years ago.
Don't know why, sure there was a good reason. :D
