- I see quite a few Hellcats in my neck of the woods. Having said that they are now starting to exhibit Super Charger bearing failures.
- Perrysburg_DodgExplorerMy dealer had a Hellcat and sold it for sticker price. No markup or markdown, it sold in two weeks.

Don't want to hijack this thread but I was really shocked this weekend when at the Ford dealer in Hobbs, NM and saw that they had 2017 Raptors for $15K OVER sticker price. Made a $61K truck sell for $86K. Amazing to me.

My local Dodge/Ram dealer has a Hellcat on the showroom floor for IIRC about $20,000 over MSRP. I get my oil changed there and it's been there thru 2 oil changes.
I think the Hellcat is a great muscle car, but I have little sympathy for a dealer who jacks up the price that much over MSRP and is having trouble unloading it. - mich800ExplorerI always find it amusing reading the comments trying to diminish the results. Not just about the Raptor but any newer technology or means to an end. Reading the youtube comments like, "I rather have a slower less performing v8" or the classic "yeah but if you turboed the V8 it could compete".

Some dealers will trip over dimes to pickup dollars.
Wife n I ditched the kids and went car shopping couple weeks ago. Local dealer had a pile of 2016 Hellcats on the lot, like 20+. Some been there for a year. They'd only come down like $5k lol. And we live close to Canada where you can go buy for a 30% discount! Made a couple cash offers on a HC and a Srt to no avail.
They did call me back to offer a great deal on a rt though, lol. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerIt's basically a street legal race truck! As was pointed out ten speed not eight speed my bad. Like I said after I got my new truck, I could dust any EB off the line just not for very far LOL! And as I said when Ford gets their new transmissions on line they are going to be the fastest truck on the road and they are!.
Great job Ford!

Not sure what makes this "very interesting" the 2017 has twin turbos and a 8 speed transmission not to mention a tad more HP then the 2016 :S
It is a sweet looking truck though.
A truck of this size with these large tires hitting 5.3 seconds 0-60 is very impressive.
In contrast a 6.2 Raptor on this same track but in a super cab configuration hit 7.3 seconds 0-60.
