2017 Super duty

They are good looking trucks with lots of power and whiz bang features. An on going battle of one up manship from all the manufacturers that benefits us all no matter our preferences.

Biggest issue with the new Super Dutys is the pricetag. Ouch. Our neighbor had a reservation on one at something like $70,000. He ended up cancelling it and bought a Ram instead.

They are certainly the King of the Hill right now, there is no doubt about it. I wish we would get away from the bigger is better game and focus back on reliability and efficiency. We have reached a level of absurd power levels that are capable of pulling WAY more than they can safely pull.

I can't wait to see the new trucks out on the road and in the campgrounds though, they sure look impressive! My friend has a 2016 F350, all tricked out with gadgets. He loves it. I loved it to, until I heard the price. Then I quickly fell back in love with my used truck purchase!

They are all nice trucks...and getting a new one is always fun. But wait until you see the price. Might change your mind....:E

Saw them testing on I5 a long time back. They are handsome trucks. Being the newest one, they should raise the bar. But I agree, the next innovation should be in reliability and simplification of emissions and anything else mechanical.

Read a story awhile back, according to JD Power the most unreliable aspect of vehicles these days is the electronics, not the ECM's, but the cameras, head up displays, electronic dashboards, entertainment systems and the like.

But the price? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!! :E

I was going to buy a new 3/4 Ford until I found out the price was over $70K
So I am keeping my F250 Super Cab 2003 V10 that just turned 100 K

My brother just pdi'd his first one, $85k cdn for 350!srw king ranch

I'd wait on purchasing in favor of possibly getting a lower price when the 2018's are coming out. I got $12k taken off the $62k sticker price of my Chevy because it was towards the end of the model year and needed to get sold. It doesn't have all the gee-whiz stuff of the new Ford's but it's given us over 50,000 trouble free miles.

Looked at a 250 Platinum diesel on a lot. $90k Canadian. WTF!!!!
