Wow, thought this was a post about a Ford not a foreign Fiat Ram.
I consider the Foreign three, Fiat/Ram, Toyota, and Nissan, last in resale, capability, and longevity.
I know of NO ONE that would buy a Ram before a Ford or a GM/Chevy. Even coworkers of Ram like to cuss them about their Rust and Unreliability.
I know for a fact Fords rust more and faster than a Dodge or even a GM!
I'm thinking MikeUp and Fishy are one in the same?!!!
And since this thread has gone there! Ford makes just as many cars/engines in other counties also!
Wow are you ever wrong there, it was breathtaking how fast my last dodge rusted out . Truck was only 7 years old, it rusted to the point that the box sides flexed enough to make the tailgate fall off the highway, & soon after that the floorboards rusted all the way along the edges at the back - bottom of the cab, along the bottom of the door threshold, and pinch welds. It was the strangest feeling driving along and feeling the door moving separate from me sitting in the seat.
Try washing the salt off once in a while and maybe garage it.
Not cheering for the ram here, just saying when I was a kid I had both a Ford and Chevy, both right about 10 years old that were so rusted out it wasn't even funny. Had a built in spitter in the floor after pushing the mat aside, tailgate bolted in with angle iron, could check the oil without opening the hood. Good thing cause it was so rusted it took 2 people to open so it didn't fold up.
Dodges and rust aren't mutually exclusive, but mild steel and rust are!
