I loved the new 1999 Super Duty the first time I saw it, but not this one.

If I were currently in the market for a new truck I would hands down purchase a new F350 after seeing them. These new '17 models are some jewels.
Really? You could knock me over with a feather... Fishie would buy a Ford?!?!?! I've seen it all now...
LOL, I was thinking the exact same thing! :B
Fish, you really should warn us to sit down before giving these earth shattering announcements! :B
I don't know; I'm sure these are beautiful trucks to drive with great features but the looks are really going to have to grow on me. I loved the new 1999 Super Duty the first time I saw it, but not this one.

Local dealer sells both Ram and Ford. I got books on a '17 Ford and a '16 Ram. Checked the GVW of both in 350 srw form and got a surprise. I also liked the option packages of the Ram better than Ford. Everyone's opinion may be different than mine. Still looking.
what was the surprise?

RAM has redesigned HDs in 2019 and I believe GM also. As far as the new SD; Hype Cycle. Ford's pricing and the Ford dealers in my area (arrogant because their sales are strong) take the fun out of new Ford truck shopping.
I'm with others in this thread, forget the wiz-bang stuff and give me reliability. We have gotten to the point where many of these gee-wiz options have intermittent issues that dealers just can't fix. What good is the gee-wiz if it doesn't work all the time and can't be fixed.
