2018 Ram w/Hood Scoop
Looks like drittal was right. Ram appears to be adding a hood scoop to increase power output for 2018. The grill shape looks like it may resemble that of the 1500. Link

WOW! did they raise the mileage?
Do we really need Class 8 tractor level power in a 3/4 ton truck? Is someone seriously considering towing 35,000 lbs with a 3/4 ton truck!
Give us more mileage at respectable power levels and then I`ll be impressed!
Now, for serious power.... I wonder if Ram can squeeze the 8.3L Cummins in there????? Sure it would only have 400HP, but the 1400 lbft of TQ would more than make up for it! the only issue I know of would be attaching an armrest and cupholder to the rear valve cover, because that's about where the rear of the engine would sit!
