Geography does play a large role in what works well and what doesn’t for sure. Even here in WA which does not have real high altitude and for the most part “mild” grades on mountain highways, the new (and older) 6.0s seem to s uck more wind than comparable gassers from the competition.
That said, they are generally very reliable trucks.
I am gonna telling having pulled my trailer with a 6.4 and 6.0. I am taking the 6.0 everyday. The gearing ruins the 6.4 and 6.0 pulls away coming up Vantage. That is 6 speed 6.4 vs a 6 speed 6.0 Towing 7800lbs and 32 feet.
