2020 Chevy 3500

Bought a 2020 Chevy 3500 CC, LTZ, DRW with bed delete today. Someone ordered it sometime ago, it finally came in. The guy that ordered it couldnt wait for it to get in and bought a Ford in the mean time. Traded in my 06 GMC CC SLT DRW. If some is looking for a low mileage (108K) LBZ I know of one.

It is the blue/grey color. I cant remember its exact name.

    Sounds like Blue Granite Metallic
  • The LTZ is very nice. I drove 3k miles in 6 days in a CC LTZ DRW last month. It rides much better than a regular cab LT DRW.

I've been wanting a 2020 3500 crew cab & chassis since last year. They weren't making them until this spring and then they quite due to Covid. The dealer ordered the truck for his stock back in March but it's never shown up yet. At this point I'd pass anyway and just order a 2021.
Let us know how the truck does after you put a few thousand miles on it.

This was convenient. If I would have ordered it, since its a work truck I wouldn't have got an LTZ. I keep thinking that GM is going to up the power significant on the L5P soon. The new interiors in the HD's will be there in '23. But this is powerful enough, and certainly nice enough, so I bought it.
  • Congrats on the new truck. BTW I think I would go with an aluminum deck.

Congratulations on the new truck. Is it for work or play? What kind of deck will you be putting on it?

Great question! I got a bid from Highway products on a customized flatbed in Al. The price about put me into shock. We are discussing the details of it now with them, and hopefully get it down a bit. We are currently over 20K. They are like 8 weeks out regardless. I am planning on putting a CM SK model for now. Hard decision. Steel takes a beating quick out here, maybe I will coat it in bedliner if I dont go aluminum.

    Location?
    What color is it?
    What trim level?

SLT. Loaded with everything available at the time except rear DVD and no sunroof. I bought the truck new in 06.
