- IdaDExplorerDid they finally fix the DEF tank location? I didn't notice it hanging down obnoxiously. I'm still not a fan of the IFS, and the mirrors look a little awkward to me, but overall this would be my pick for favorite of the newest crop of diesels.
- ksssExplorerThey said in the video they updated the frame, but there wasn't any specific detail on that. Maybe there was only two bolts in the aux. spring hanger before and now there is three. I am sure the details of the chassis upgrades will become known as the release date gets closer. I am curious if the lights on the wheel wells are cosmetic or the truck is wide enough to require them via DOT. Didn't notice that on the Silverado.
- ACZLExplorerI was skeptical at 1st on the GMC as I (along w/ many others) didn't think too highly of the Chevy version. After looking at both videos, the GMC is one sharp looking truck for 2020. Now my question is: Did GM re-do the frame is some fashion to increase their tow numbers? Reason I ask is, if the D-max hasn't changed with it's HP & TQ numbers, what did GM do to increase things? Anyone notice as well that on the dually, there are only 3 bolts that attach the aux spring hanger to frame?
- 4x4ordExplorer IIII wonder if the mirrors power extend?

Looks to me like a whole lot of lowest bidder components to fail after the warranty expires and are ready to drain your wallet.
The more complex they become, the more costly they are initially and after the romance has worn off as well.
Bet that truck stickers for 80 grand, maybe more. Just insane.
I sure did enjoy my heated seats Sunday morning when the temps dipped down into the 30's and after wade fishing during Summer months that AC cooled seat is nice to dry out your bottom end on that two hour drive home and that back up camera helping me attach my boat trailer to the hitch at 3:00am or the auto dimming rear view mirror shunting off the guy behind you with his high lights on or even that auto start that starts blowing AC cooled air in your truck before you jump in after work. After 6.5 years all my yuppy features still work.
If your not into all this stuff there's always the low end model with just the basics.
Don't forget the cooled seats when its 100 degrees outside and 95% humidity and swamp arse is in full effect. SidecarFlip wrote:

I see a hint of my 09 in there, well st least the front end. Anyway, I can’t afford one anytime soon, so it will be a while. I’m interested in the new 6.6 gas version. Rumor has that engine at 400hp and 450 TQ with 8 speed transmission, so that for sure would work for me.

I am sure you can get it as loaded as you are willing to pay for and maintain. Obviously every HD that is sold isnt going to be this loaded. No doubtcompletely loaded like this appears to be will hit 75-80K, my '18 LTZ MSRPed at 71K. Gotta pay if you want to play at that level. Not sure how you are able to deduct that the components are low quality by that 5 min video. At least wait until they are released before you talk about things you dont know. MARK VANDERBENT wrote:
Wow that truck looks great! How many cameras? Like 14??
I thought I heard 15 cameras, but the transparent trailer view in my mind is an outstanding feature.- MARK_VANDERBENTExplorerWow that truck looks great! How many cameras? Like 14??
