Even if everyone today knows it has been that way since 2007 there will be new people coming along tomorrow that don't know. The better question to me is "Why does GM promote the label?". It sounds to me like they are trying to get customers to pay extra for something that isn't there, or buy a Chevy over a Ford for a reason that doesn't exist. A classic bait and switch operation. Personally I don't mind drinking a Sam's Choice drink in place of a Coke but that doesn't mean that I am OK WalMart labeling Sam's Choice as a Coke product, even if it does come out of the same bottling plant.
If Coke sells the naming rights and formulas Sam's Club is it OK for Sam's club to then produce Coke?
