With that, I heard the 5LP had some special juice in the oil, broke in motor with it in, then remove, and go for drive.........but the computer programs said it would blow a rod thru the block after some 50-100 miles...... so GM never built one! Hence why it was SOOOOOOO bad, they did not want to ruin a deezal reputation like the 6.2/6.5, or the Ferd fiasco with the 6.0/6.4! or maybe it were that bosch Injector pump fiasco.....any way.... that is me story, I am sticken to it! right or wrong!
