Trans temp was up to around 186, I would say that is because the engine temp stayed around 215 the whole run. That is still VERY cool!
The fact that we heard the Ford fan kick on almost immediately was what got me thinking that it might have more to do with cooling the intercooler circuit for the charge air. The engine coolant capacity is large enough that it is not going to be requiring the fan right off the get go ... especially at 22*.
That could be. Man these things are getting WAYYYY too complicated.
