I know it’s different vehicles, but I tried it on my Jeep today. Instead of using AAC (which is all I use) I turned on just the standard cruise, and the brakes did in fact engage as I was going down a hill faster than the cruise was set for.
I think I have to eat a little crow as well. I wasn't figuring on the turbo pushing as much air as it does. After re thinking things through I'm at the point where i could believe that in 2nd gear the Ram is able to hold that trailer back.... if not, it would be very close to being able to so.
