Like I have said based on MY experience on steeper grades with 6k less weight it should hold locked 2nd at 35mph pushing against the red line.
Did you ever try putting your EB to Full on (no trailer) and measure the time it takes to slow your truck from 52 mph down to 25 mph locked in 3rd gear? That would give a real good indication as to the amount of reverse HP your truck can generate.
