2020 Jayco Hummingbird 10RK

Hello all! We have the 2019 RK and looking to install the factory optioned roof rack that is available only on the 2020. RV dealer can't seem to get the schematics on a 2020 without a VIN that has the rack installed.

Requesting the search skills of the forum. Can someone please post a VIN or link to 2020 that has the rack installed? Dealer needs to confirm installation on the 2020 to install on my 2019.

    Don't know if it helps, but it appears the roof rack (and awning if that's what you're after) is nothing specific to Jayco. The awning is Thule and probably the rack too.
    You may find it all more economically elsewhere anyways.

    It's not that big of deal to install that item. One certainly doesn't need a schematic and most RV's dont have them anyway.

    There is a concern of being able to keep and not give an "out" when it comes to a possible warranty issue regarding the roof.

    How long is your warranty?
    Seems unlikely any damage could occur in the warranty period

    According to the Jayco website, the rack is mandatory if the awning is installed.

    I can't imagine that they don't prep every trailer for an awning. Therefore, it would seem reasonable to expect they are all ready for a roof rack.

    It seems like the factory should know if the rack will go on your 2019.

    I agree. The factory should know, but they don't. I called them. They had zero info on roof rack compatability for 2019 unless they had a VIN for a 2020 that has a roof rack installed. Of course, they don't have a VIN. Their system isn't really end user friendly.
