2020 new travel trailer models

When do Travel trailer companies post their new models on their web sights for viewing? It's getting close isn't it?
  • Don't know if there is one right answer, but we ordered our camper several years ago in April and it arrived as the new model year.
  • We ordered our 5th wheel in March 2018 and it was a 2019 model. It was already too late to order a 2018 model. Essentially the same as a 2018 model but they called it a 2019 so they could bump the price $500
  • so weights are pretty similar then I'm assuming, if we find "our" trailer model we like and order, I'm assuming will be at weight level or under considering they try to make things "lighter" not heavier as the newer models come out?
  • sorry keep remembering things to write.. We are running into problem where we finalizing our trailer model but have to go further and further away from home to buy the trailer model we like as the trailer year grinds to an end. figured I'd wait till new models come out and get one closer to home.
  • If you are ordering, don't expect it to look exactly like the 2018 model. They are all notorious for changing things on the fly.

You need to understand that in the RV industry, everything is driven by cost. Weight, durability and anything else is not considered if a dime can be saved.

    Depends on the manufacturer.

Also, they don't roll out all new models for the year at once, since they don't have manufacturing capability to run them all in production at the same time.
